Central Oregon Symphony invites you to their season finale featuring the vocal talents of Portland artists Jocelyn Thomas and Zachary Lenox.  Each will perform a solo work and then join forces for the high-energy Act I finale from Donizetti’s Don Pasquale.  The newly commissioned Malheur Symphony, by Chris Thomas, will conclude the concert. This five-movement work was inspired by the beauty and gradeur of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon. Audio clips of birdsongs and other recently recorded natural sounds from the refuge, along with selected images, will intermingle with the music performed by the orchestra.
