Steens Mountain and the Alvord Desert are “must see” landscapes in any trip out to Eastern Oregon. Join Christian Murrillo on this 3-day/2-night photography workshop, where we will take our photography to one of the most remote corners of the state, where a unique photograph is waiting to be taken in almost every direction. First we will explore the bizarre desert landscape of the Alvord Desert Playa and even camp there, on an 84 sq. mile expanse of nearly perfectly flat land, surrounded by mountains. The playa is simply a landscape photographers playground, with creative compositions available everywhere you look.
