This is our day to showcase all we have to offer at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory and your opportunity to enjoy it all for free!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 10am - Falcon Flight: Watch our Gyrfalcon, Freya, stretch her wings in the great meadow. Learn about falcons and their unique flight patterns. 11am - Meteorite Talk: Rocks from outer space!!?? You can learn all about these one-in-a-billion occurrences and touch some of the objects from other worlds! Noon - Flower Dissection: More than just a pretty face, flowers have an intricate and amazing design to accomplish the production of seeds. Learn about the parts of a flower and what each one is used for with our naturalists. 1pm: Macro Invertebrate  Exploration What tiny creatures lurk in Lake Aspen? Take a sample and look closely, you will be amazed at the diversity of tiny live teaming in the water here. 2pm: Telescope Talk  Did you know that there are over 30 different telescopes at our observatory? Learn more about them at our telescope talk! 3pm Waterfowl Talk Sunriver Nature Center's swans are famous! Learn more about this celebrity couple and meet their smaller cousins our resident ducks.
