Swainson’s and Squirrels Field Trip

Explore the great migration of the Swainson’s hawk as they return to Central Oregon from South America.  Join a wildlife specialist from the High Desert Museum for this field trip to Fort Rock.  The Belding ground squirrels will be emerging from hibernation at the same time.  This affords a comprehensive look at this important predator-prey relationship and how humans can mess it up.  Registration and pre-payment is required through the museum.
