These are the warriors we need in these troubled times. Johnny Bourbon is a singer-songwriter born in Bend Oregon in 1989. He grew up in various locations throughout the Pacific Northwest and honed his skills writing and performing in various bands since the age of 15. He challenges himself to evoke honesty in his songwriting; examining the human condition and the subjects of love & loss, life and death, optimism and strife, and shares his personal history and the inner dialogues that follow with his audience, challenging them to ask themselves similar questions and confront their own humanness amidst the backdrop of alternative-country, and folk influenced guitar. Johnny's performance can somewhat be described as an act of emotional purging, and tends to fill a room with a heavy catharsis while still evoking a sense of levity.
