This summer at The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse, we’re inviting folks to come sit, relax and learn from the wineries featured on our year-round wine list. Each glass will be paired with a unique array of small-plates from our chef, using seasonal ingredients to compliment each wine. Seatings require reservations and are from 1-4pm every Thursday, starting on June 18th and ending on September 3rd.

ABOUT SASS WINERY

Sass Winery produces small amounts of elegant, complex, sharply focused pinot noir, pinot blanc, pinot gris, chardonnay, gamay noir, Riesling, gewürztraminer and sauvignon blanc that evoke the terroir of specific vineyard sites in the Willamette Valley. Winemaker Jerry Sass, inspired by wines his father made from Finger Lakes grapes in Western New York, founded the winery in 1996, believing in natural, non-invasive winemaking. He and his wife, Susan Gage, and father, (also) Jerry Sass, are partners. Today they make 4,000 cases of wine each year from vineyards that are naturally and sustainably dry-farmed, celebrating the impeccable balance of fruit, silky tannins and firm acidity that reflect each vineyard’s rich ecosystem.
