This summer at The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse, we’re inviting folks to come sit, relax and learn from the wineries featured on our year-round wine list. Each glass will be paired with a unique array of small-plates from our chef, using seasonal ingredients to compliment each wine. Seatings require reservations and are from 1-4pm every Thursday, starting on June 18th and ending on September 3rd.

ABOUT SOTER VINEYARDS
In the mid-1980s, Tony Soter began working as a consulting winemaker in the Napa Valley, assisting luminaries such as Araujo, Niebaum-Coppola, Shafer, Spottswoode, Viader and Dalla Valle. In 1982, he established his own winery – Etude – where he focused on Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. After years of mentoring and encouraging some of Napa Valley’s most respected growers and winemakers, he ended his consulting roles to focus exclusively on Soter Vineyards and his family in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The Soter’s Estate vineyard, Mineral Springs Ranch, is a Certified Biodynamic and Certified Organic 240-acre savanna-like oak woodland and grazing land located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. It is the home to only 40 acres of grape vines, primarily Pinot Noir and a little bit of Chardonnay. Located just east of the town of Carlton, the ranch is perched on a mesa with gentle slopes and commanding views of the surrounding Yamhill-Carlton District. The production facilities and hospitality buildings are all located there as well, allowing us complete control of all operations.
