Touch a Truck – Redmond Area Park and Recreation District

Redmond Park & Rec invites you to come see and touch trucks and big machines at Redmond High School. Ask the drivers questions, climb on up, and even try truck arts and crafts and auto parts jewelry! This event is free and open to all ages.

A “Quiet Hour” where the use of horns and sirens will be restricted to the extent possible will run from 11am-noon. From noon to 3pm, horns and sirens will be permitted but only at the discretion of each vehicle’s driver.

Trucks could include a cement truck, dump truck, garbage truck, aircraft fire and rescue truck, airport runway snowplow, 18-wheeler cab, police and railway police SUVs, a crane, and a mini-excavator and track loader, and more. This year, in honor of Historic Preservation Month, we are also including a small section of preserved historic trucks.
