“From Clean Energy Jobs to the Green New Deal: How Oregon and the Nation are Responding to Climate Change“.  In recent years, action on climate change has felt bottled up with little sign that action was occurring that could meet the seriousness of the challenge. Things seem different in 2019, with ambitious action contemplated in Oregon and other states and suggestions that there is growing traction for climate action at the federal level. This talk will explore these recent developments and provide updates on the laws and policies being considered at the state and federal levels.
