The Upper Deschutes Watershed Council and Central Oregon Community College are partnering to present “Learn About Your Home Waters,” an in-depth speaker series beginning in February focused on the Whychus Creek watershed. Join us with our natural resource partners to learn about the history, hydrology, water quality, habitat conditions, native fish, water conservation, and stream restoration of Whychus Creek. The five-session Whychus Creek Watershed Speaker Series, beginning Feb. 6 and with an every-other-Tuesday format, will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Sisters Library and concludes with an all-day field tour. A $49 pre-registration fee is required, and participants can register using the link below.
