Wildflower Hike

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Carol Moorehead for a spring wildflower hike at Whychus Canyon Preserve. Soak up spring as you explore ancient juniper groves and search for early spring wildflowers like yellow bells, prairie stars, and phlox. Enjoy hiking beneath towering ponderosa pines while you make your way down to Whychus Creek. Along the way, take a break at a rocky outcropping with panoramic views of mountain peaks.This is a challenging 4 mile hike with uneven and steep terrain.  300 ft elevation change.   Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
