Meet at Cog Wild to catch the shuttle to Bend's trailheads along Century Drive.
Each shuttle will drop at all 3 trailheads. Wanoga is the lowest, Sawmpy in the Middle and Dutchmans is the highest drop point. Please choose your desired trailhead when booking.
Wanoga and Swampy drops are $15 per person. Dutchman is $20 per person
This is a one way shuttle, plan your route to end back at Cog Wild.
All shuttles are non-guided. Shuttle riders need to be self sufficient: bring a map and have a route in mind, carry a first aid kit since there is no bike patrol out there. Carry enough food, water and clothing to support a day in the woods.
If you have a large group and are interested in a Private shuttle please call us at 541-385-7002
Rental bikes are not included in the cost of the tour. Please contact us directly with questions about the activity.
Please sign the waiver, which is good for the entire year.
Bend Trails and Trail Forks are great sites for researching which trail to ride for your group’s skill level and goals for the day. Maps are available to purchase at Cog Wild.
Wanoga
Our first regular stop accesses the Wanoga Pump Track, Funner, Tiddlywinks, Tyler’s Traverse, and much more. While the terrain is generally downhill and most obstacles have go-arounds, these blue and black trails can be challenging for new or younger riders.
The average ride back to Cog Wild is 12 – 18 miles.
Swampy
Mid-elevation Swampy Lakes Trailhead is a great place for longer rides to access many trails that connect to the Swampy Lakes Loop like Vista Butte, Swede Ridge, South Fork, and Upper & Lower Whoops.
The average ride back to Cog Wild is 15 – 20 miles.
Dutchman Flat Mt. Bachelor
Once the higher elevation trails are free from snow (late June to mid-July), our final stop is Dutchman Flat, across the highway from Mt. Bachelor Ski Area / Bike Park. Use Flagline Access to ride backcountry trails like Metolius-Windigo, and Middle Flagline, which opens on August 15 to protect elk calving grounds.
The average ride back to Cog Wild is 25 – 40 miles.
Please sign a waiver when you book your first shuttle of 2021. Waivers are valid for the entire 2021 season. All shuttles need four people or the cost of four people ($60) to be confirmed. In Bend, we usually have at least one shuttle going in the shoulder season and multiple shuttles running daily through the summer. We’ll do our best to group you on to confirmed shuttles.
$17 per person for either Wanoga or Swampy drop off
$22 per person for Dutchman drop off
