About Half Day Boat Trip: Cascade Lakes
A fly fishing trip to one of the Cascade Lakes is best suited for anglers looking for relatively low impact and highly productive outings. If you are interested in a positive first fishing experience with your son, daughter, or non-angling spouse, consider a trip to East Lake or Lava Lake. During the peak of the season on either lake, we can practically guarantee they catch some fish.
We offer a number of options for Half-Day trips, both walk-in and boat-in. All Half-Day trips include at least 4 hours of fishing time, and begin in the morning or late afternoon. Your guide will meet you at CONFLUENCE FLYSHOP in Bend, or some other designated location. From there, you’ll carpool or caravan with your guide to the selected fishery. Once on the water, you’ll spend the next 4 hours learning and catching, with the occasional break to look around and soak up the natural beauty surrounding you. Start times for Half Day trips vary depending on the time of the year, whether or not the guide has another trip that same day, and the needs of the angler. We typically choose a start time that offers the best fishing, but we can generally be flexible enough to accommodate any other activities you have planned for the day of your trip.
