About Blazin Saddles
With a mission of serving the Sisters Community and beyond, Blazin Saddles was founded in 2010 by Jacquie Zanck, and her son, Casey Meudt. In the years since, the shop has grown exponentially, as Sisters has become increasingly popular for cyclists and tourists alike!
Casey was raised in Sisters, where he attended Sisters High School. After graduating, he went to UBI (United Bicycle Institute) and then worked in several bike shops from Oregon to Florida! By the time Casey made it back around to his stomping grounds, his Mom was a director for Black Butte Ranch and their bike shop manager. The two of them began talking and identified that Sisters was missing its own dedicated full-service bike shop. So, they combined their strengths, and soon, the open sign was flashing for the first time! It was a bumpy beginning coming out of the 2009 recession, but in the years since, we have learned that running a bike shop is a lot like riding a bike: the more you do it, the better you get.
We are committed to providing the best possible customer experience and making our workplace enjoyable for all of our awesome employees! Blazin Saddles strives only to keep improving and serving as many people as possible.
