About Sunriver Music Festival

Sunriver Music Festival is committed to expanding the audience for classical music by nurturing the next generation of artistic talent and by presenting a world-class musical experience for Central Oregon residents and visitors.

The landmark event for the last 40+ years is the Summer Festival – two weeks of concerts and masterclasses featuring acclaimed maestros, soloists, and the Festival Orchestra from around the world. Ticket sales begin April 1 of each year for the Summer Festival in August.

The Fireside Series of concerts occur in December, February, and April featuring popular soloists and ensembles from the Pacific Northwest such as Aaron Meyer Concert Rock Violinist, saxophonist Patrick Lamb, pianist Michael Allen Harrison, and many others. Piano Showcase at the Tower Theatre is our two-day performance and workshop extravaganza celebrating the versatility and virtuosity of the piano.

Music education programs focus on grassroots needs in South Deschutes County (Sunriver, Three Rivers, La Pine) as well as the Young Artists Scholarship program which has awarded over $600,000 to Central Oregon’s most promising classical music students.
