About The Bite Tumalo

Come on down to The Bite in scenic Tumalo — at the north end of Bend, Oregon. You’ll find fantastic food, an amazing assortment of beers on tap, plus a great festive vibe. With our fire pits, music, and games for the kids, it’s like a backyard party. Stop by!

The Bite has been a dream for our family for years. We wanted to create a local hangout where we could have families enjoy some good food, beer and music. When my wife Donni graduated high school (not sure how she made it out of Mill City), she went to work on a cinnamon roll truck that toured CA county fairs. I think that’s where her obsession started. My obsession is more with food truck food and eating my way through county fairs. All kidding aside, we have lived in Tumalo for 16 years, our kids go to Tumalo School, we love the Tumalo community. In our spare time, we love to float/camp the Lower Deschutes and hang out in Maupin. Thank you for visiting and hope to see you soon at The Bite! Remember: What stays in Tumalo happens in Tumalo!

Location: Just 10 minutes north of downtown Bend in beautiful Tumalo. We’re located on 7th Street/Cook Ave. right off of Highway 20 — near Tumalo State Park and on the way to Sisters.
