Scalehouse shapes our shared future through creativity, collaboration, and conversation. We believe that our future presents complex challenges and opportunities, not just benefiting from creativity but requiring it. Throughout the year, we convene diverse thinkers for in-depth discussion, artistic expression, and hands-on collaboration. Scalehouse promotes collaborations through a multidisciplinary and contemporary lens, encompassing visual and performing arts, architecture and design, film and storytelling, conceptual art and activism. From exhibitions to talks to the annual Bend Design conference, our programs catalyze a creative synthesis that’s impossible in isolation. Scalehouse is for artists, creative thinkers, civic and business leaders, scientists and engineers, teachers and students, concerned citizens—anyone who feels a responsibility to help shape the future through creativity. We are committed to programming that’s accessible yet provocative, extraordinary yet inclusive, and always with an eye toward a better future for all of us. Scalehouse is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our programming is supported by sponsors, grants, and membership fees and we are governed by our Board of Directors and aided by committed volunteers.
